At St. Francis Episcopal Church, we continue our journey with Christ and each other through lectionary classes and book studies. We offer a variety of opportunities for parishioners and guests to join us in our journey. Below you can find a list of our current Faith Formation opportunities.
WEDNESDAY Book Study
We will be working through Richard Rohr's newest book, The Divine Dance. The Divine Dance explores the early Christian image of the Trinity: perichoresis, a circle dance. The unending flow of giving and receiving between Father, Son, and Spirit is the pattern of reality. God is not only a dancer, but the Dance itself! We’re all invited to participate into the rhythms of New Creation. We're excited to be reading through this book on such an exciting topic. Please join us Wednesday's at 11:00 am beginning March 8th.
LENTEN Book study
For each Lenten Wednesday, a simple Lenten meal will be served at 6:30 pm and the book study will begin at 7:00 pm. Compline follows at 8:00 pm.
Canon John Bolton will join us on the first night (Wednesday, March 8) and the last night (Wednesday, April 5).
Please refer to our Events Calendar page for the complete listing of the dates.
